NFPA Releases Technical Standards

Three new technical documents have recently been published and are now available from the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) including ISO 4397:2011 (supersedes ISO 4397:1993): Fluid power connectors and associated components - Nominal outside diameters of tubes and nominal hose sizes; ISO 15524:2011: Pneumatic fluid power - Cylinders - Single-rod short-stroke cylinders,1,000 kPa (10 bar) series,bores from 20 mm to 100 mm; ISO 16873:2011 (supersedes ISO 16873:2002): Hydraulic fluid power - Pressure switches - Mounting surfaces (second edition).

NFPA provides a forum for the fluid power industry's channel partners-manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, customers and educators. It's U.S. and multinational members work cooperatively in advancing hydraulic and pneumatic technology through the association's many programs and initiatives. NFPA coordinates standards development for fluid power at the industry and international levels. These standards are intended as guides to aid the manufacturer, the consumer, and the user.
