New Power Transmission Package from Brevini

The new High Power Series from Brevini combines the gear design of the S Series planetary gearboxes with modular features of the PIV POSIRED 2 family of helical and bevel-helical gearboxes. According to the company’s press release, the combination of the planetary and bevel/helical technology provides effective cooling and the ability to overcome problems of increased power losses. Additional features include five harmonically-developed sizes, nominal torque for 37,00 to 70,000 N-m, transmission ratios of 100 to 70, and nominal power from 160 to 50 kW.
