New Composite Gear from Intech

The Power-Core gears from Intech Corp. are self-lubricating and feature a Nylon 12 gear body securely cast around a sturdy metal hub, which eliminates grease contamination and premature wear. According to the company?s press release, this gear?s tooth modification can extend gear life. Both the tooth wear and tooth root stress are focal points in this product. In addition to producing more consistent quality in the sanding operation, the manufacturer was able to realize additional performance benefits including quieter operation and greater efficiency.
