NES Renews AS9100 and ISO9001 Certifications

NES Bearing Company, Inc. a complete bearing solutions provider specializing in custom bearings, bearing inspection and bearing testing, recently completed annual audits to renew the Olean, NY facility’s AS9100 Aerospace Standard for Quality Systems and ISO 9001 Quality Management System certifications.

To maintain the AS9100 certification NES underwent an audit to ensure their quality assurance practices meet the requirements of the AS9100 Aerospace Standard for Quality Systems. AS9100 registration is required in order to provide products to the aerospace market. PRI conducted the audit in accordance with the AS9100 requirement for an annual renewal.

NES also renewed their ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification. Registration to ISO 9001:2015 demonstrates NES’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement and ensures that a company has implemented effective processes to address the quality of the company’s products and services, satisfaction of its customers, and the continuous improvement of the company’s processes. Recertification is based upon NES’s ability to demonstrate, not only that it had documented quality management principles and procedures, but also that it operates according to them.

“Meeting the AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards ensures that NES is committed to the highest quality in NES’s products and services,” said Chris Napoleon, president. “The dual registration demonstrates our commitment to aerospace and industrial customers alike.”
