MTB Names New Director of Sales and Marketing

Machine Tool Builders Inc. has today announced the addition of Anthony (Tony) Johnson to the company’s sales and marketing team, to help represent and support the company’s expanding lines of new gear machines and its machine tool rebuild and recontrol services.

As MTB’s new Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Johnson brings a wealth of related sales, engineering, and CNC machining experience to the company’s sales and marketing group, having previously served as regional sales manager for Gleason Corporation, and both applications and design engineer with Gleason Cutting Tools Corporation. He got his start at Gleason as a CNC machinist.

“Tony’s sales background, combined with his deep experience in every facet of gear production, will be an enormous asset for both MTB and our customers, particularly as we add new machine lines to our product offering,” says MTB President Ken Flowers.  “Our sales force is now very well positioned to respond with a complete array of manufacturing solutions for our customers, whether new machines, or bringing older models to like-new condition with the rebuild and recontrol services we’re well known for.”
