Mitutoyo Introduces Laser Scan Micrometer to Sensor Systems Product Line
Mitutoyo America Corporation is pleased to announce the release of the LSM-6902H Laser Scan Micrometer to its sensor systems product line. The LSM-6902H Laser Scan Micrometer non-contact, high-accuracy measurement system is an excellent option for measuring pin gages or plug gages.
The ultra-precise scanning motor in the LSM-6902H enables the highest measurement accuracy down to 0.3µm with excellent Gage R&R performance since measurements are non-contact. The standard output is RS-232C with analog I/O with an optional 2 channel Digimatic code output unit available.
Features include an accuracy of ±0.5 μm over the entire measuring range and a higher accuracy of ± (0.3+0.1ΔD) µm over a narrow range, suitable repeatability available in the 25mm/1" class, a resolution of 0.01 to 10 µm (selectable) (0.000001 – 0.0005in), a scanning rate of 1,600 scans/s and a laser scanning speed of 112m/s.
