MD&M West 2020 Preview: SDP/SI

Stock Drive Products/Sterling Instrument (SDP/SI) provides mechanical based design, engineering, and manufacturing for motion control applications. Exhibiting at MD&M WEST 2020, February 11-13, 2020 Anaheim, CA in Booth #1468, SDP/SI will be showcasing precision components and custom-engineered mechanical solutions used by the most recognized names in medical, aerospace and robotics.

Examples of precision gears, gear assemblies, miniature belt, and pulley drive systems and a variety of mechanical component options will be on display, including a new, highly efficient gearless speed reducer with traction drive technology. Years of development and testing have been invested in this new technology, resulting in a product featuring infinite ratios up to a ratio of 5:1, dramatic reduction of motor torque ripple, low vibration and noise level. Engineers will be available at the booth to help with product, design and manufacturing questions.

SDP/SI engineering and manufacturing experts bring proven performance, years of experience and product knowledge to every motion control solution provided. “This year our company attains the milestone of 70 years in business”, says Doug Kerester, vice president, sales and marketing. “Building relationships, producing high-quality components and being responsive to the changing needs of our customers has made us the engineer’s partner of choice. Working side by side with OEMs we participate at every stage, from early development through high-volume production. Drawing from our extensive engineering and manufacturing experience, we help make designs more efficient, smaller, lighter, and cost-effective. OEMs depend on us for mechanical components and geared solutions for surgical tools, robotics, satellites, instrumentation, pumps & drives, and patient positioning.”
