Maxon Introduces DC Drives Line

Maxon Motor, a provider of high-precision drives up to 500 Watts, is launching a new range of DC drives on November 13, 2012. This all-new product range consists of innovative and powerful DC motors with ironless rotor, gears and sensors.  "New magnets, new design, new processes. Our best brushed drives have been given a complete technical revision," says Eugen Elmiger, CEO of Maxon. Elmiger adds that in the future customers may fine-tune their drives to their specific needs with just a few clicks on the Maxon website. "These are going to be the most powerful DC motors on the market. Compared to our direct competitors, our new products provide 20% more power in the same size class,” commented Markus Schwab, product manager responsible for the new maxon DCX program.
