Maxon Brushless Motors Offer Low Vibration at High Speeds

Maxon's improved EC 22 motors are equipped with preloaded ball bearings and the latest generation of Neodymium permanent magnets. The motors feature low vibration and low noise levels even at high speeds. The motors feature a nominal torque of up to 44 mNm, an efficiency of more than 90 percent and a 25 percent reduced speed/torque gradient, according to the company's press release. All motors are available with Hall sensors or sensorless and with up to four different windings. They can be combined with a variety of standard gearheads and the sterilizable planetary gearhead in a wide range of variations as well as a servo amplifiers and positioning controllers.
