Maska Offers New Coupling

Maska has added the Four-Flex,  an elastomeric gear type coupling.  The cast iron flanges are machined in Canada, with two types of insert elements in EPDM and Hytrel.

According to the company's press release, particular attention was been given to producing a precise concentrical product to avoid run-out and an unbalanced drive.  Initially available in sizes 3-13 with flange types “J” & “S” bored-to-size and “B” that fits with our QD bushings, additional sizes and insert elements will be added based on demand.

This particular coupling has four-way flexing action, does not require lubrication or special tools to install and delivers a quieter, smoother power transmission drive.
