Mansfield Engineered Components Unifies all Business Units

Mansfield Assemblies and Mansfield Industries today announced they will unify all of their business units under the company name Mansfield Engineered Components, effective immediately. The company also will unveil a new website and company‐wide brand identity, including the new tagline "Designing Solutions. Delivering Results." Mansfield Engineered Components is a global supplier of appliance hinges, providing both simple and complex hinges to many of the world's best‐known appliance brands. The company also designs and manufactures complex motion control components for customers in the transportation, medical case goods and general industrial markets.

"In our 70+ years as a family‐owned and operated business, customers have known us by a variety of names, including Mansfield Industries, Mansfield Assemblies, Mansfield Manufacturing and Mansfield Plating," said Bruce Cummins, president and CEO. "We believe that our new name and identity reflect the fact that our customers recognize us as an innovator that provides cost‐effective design solutions, delivered on‐time and on‐budget. As we have grown, our businesses evolved under a variety of names, and that makes it difficult to position the company as a single, unified organization," Cummins continued. "We want all of our customers and prospective customers to be aware of the full scope of our capabilities, and we believe that our new name and identity will help us achieve that. It is our intention to be recognized throughout the markets we serve as a responsive, problem‐solver that provides value‐added services."
