LMC Workholding Completes Expansion

LMC Workholding recently completed a $2 million expansion at its Logansport, Indiana facility with several new machines, all green lighting, office renovations and other plant improvements. The new machines include an expandable six-pallet horizontal machining center, several vertical machining centers, lathes and grinders. With these new machines LMC plans to not only improve its existing capabilities, but also meet growing demand for products and services including larger products and specialty products. Jay Duerr, LMC Workholding president, said, “We have been upgrading machine capabilities, buying new ones to increase capacity, and remodeling parts of the plant and all of our offices. Our goal is to have the best facility in the workholding business to serve the ever changing needs of our growing customer base and the machine tool industry in general. As they continue to drive us into providing more product and services as their business evolves we must keep pace.
