Klingelnberg Lays Foundation for Further Growth

On January 29 of this year, the company signed a contract to purchase several lots in an industrial zone located in Hückeswagen, Germany. The move lays the foundation for further growth while further strengthening the company's prospects for the future. “By signing this contract, we are setting a course for the future and availing ourselves of all options a modern company needs,” declared CEO Jan Klingelnberg. Medium-term plans include relocating the plant to the new site in Winterhagen covering an area of approximately nine hectares. The first step will be completed over the next two years and is currently in the planning stages. Further relocation will take place incrementally such that construction on the new site will be largely complete by 2022. The new space is located in the "West 2" industrial zone, also in the Oberberg district (North Rhine-Westphalia), near the current location. The company's growth targets could not have been achieved at the current location
