Kistler Announces New Calibration Services for Sensors

Kistler,  a worldwide supplier of precision sensors, systems and instrumentation for the dynamic measurement of pressure, force, torque and acceleration, has announced its ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration services for the piezoelectric pressure and force sensors used within the zero-defect plastics injection molding of electronic components, optical lenses, liquid silicone rubber (LSR), medical components and MIM.

Use of properly calibrated sensors and instrumentation is essential for ensuring that measurement and control systems are fully functioning according to manufacturers. Kistler products are designed and tested prior to shipment to ensure complete functionality according to published specifications, extended service life may result in sensor and system performance that falls outside of specification. To ensure proper system functionality and reduce measurement uncertainty errors, as well as extend product useful service life, Kistler recommends annual recalibrations of critical sensing system components.
