KISSsoft Announces Software Updates

There are numerous new features implemented for KISSsoft 03/2012. Highlights include: The contact analysis was improved with a new model. Moreover, there is a system analysis for planets now, calculating the transmission error for the planet carrier and Kγ for each planet; a new method for calculating K according to ISO 6336-1, Annex E, based on the bending of the corresponding shafts; fine sizing for bevel gears; a new assistant in KISSsys helps setting up a system of parallel shafts. Furthermore several new settings accelerate and simplify the definition of a model and the respective user interface as well as strength analysis according to DNV for cylindrical gears.
