Kilian Bearings Withstand Washdown Environments

Kilian Manufacturing, Syracuse, New York, has developed a line of ball bearing housed units for the tough washdown conditions in food processing and packaging operations. No-Rust housed units combine corrosion-proof 303 stainless steel components for extended life. An advanced thermoplastic housing and special stainless steel bearing insert form a complete value package that stands up to a wide range of common corrosives and contaminants. The housed units also resist steam and continuous temperatures up to 250 degrees F. Specifically designed for moderate loads and speeds in food processing and packaging, the Kilian units feature excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, detergents, oils and other chemicals. The No-Rust solid base housings prevent any collection of bacteria. The wide inner-ring design provides excellent shaft support and setscrew locking.
