J. W. Winco Adds Threaded Set Collars

J.W. Winco, Inc., a supplier of standard industrial machine components, announced it now offers series GN 706.3 Threaded Set Collars, in metric sizes. These threaded set collars are available in black steam oxidized sintered steel (Distaloy AB) or sintered stainless steel, European Standard No. 1.4404 (American Standard Series 316L). The steel version includes a DIN 912 socket cap screw, European 8.8 grade steel, with blackened finish. The stainless steel version has a socket cap screw of stainless steel, European Standard 1.4301(American Standard Series 304). Both versions are RoHS compliant. GN 706.3 threaded set collars can be used in connection with bolt thread tolerance 6g. After clamping, the thread of the semi-split set collar may no longer be tolerance-stable (6H). Size range includes outer diameters from 20 to 55 mm and threads from M8 x 1.25 to M30 x 1.5.
