International Federation of Robotics Accepts Award Applications
Applications for the IEEE/IFR Invention & Entrepreneurship Award (IERA Award) will be accepted until February 18, 2011. The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE RAS) and the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) jointly sponsor the Invention and Entrepreneurship Award. The purpose of this award is to highlight and honor achievements in robotics. Inventors with value-creating ideas and entrepreneurs who propel those ideas into world-class products are eligible to apply. The IERA Award 2011 will be presented at the ICRA Conference in Shanghai on May 9, 2011. A prestigious plaque and a U.S. $2,000 prize will be awarded to the winner.
