Hygienic Gearbox Meets Food and Pharma Standards
Neugart USA has designed its new HLAE gearbox from the ground up for use in food processing, pharmaceutical and other industries with stringent manufacturing hygiene standards.
With both FDA and NSF approvals, the Neugart HLAE hygienic gearbox features electro-polished 316L stainless steel surfaces and IP69K washdown performance. The gearbox uses food-safe lubricants throughout and includes a smooth PTFE shaft seal that has no particulate-trapping.
While designed with cleanliness and washdown in mind, the HLAE is first and foremost a high-performance gearbox. It offers full-load efficiency above 97%, minimal backlash, high torsional stiffness and a wide range of output torques.
The new gearbox's cleanliness and reliability make it ideal for a wide variety of food and pharmaceutical applications, including filling equipment, slicers, hygienic belt drives, agitating machines, cone mixers, capsule filling systems and centrifuges.
