Hannover Messe USA Showcases IIoT Solutions

Hannover Fairs USA recently announced that Dell Technologies and Microsoft have signed on to join other key Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions innovators including SAP in the new Digital Factory exhibition at Hannover Messe USA 2018. Digital Factory exhibitors will showcase breakthrough products and solutions focused on integrated processes and IT solutions for plant operations.

During the show, Dell will display industrial IoT solutions for low-volume, high-mix discrete manufacturers that leverage the scalability and power of technology it has created in conjunction with its alliance partners.  

Microsoft will showcase how advanced Industry 4.0 solutions can boost factory productivity by connecting devices and using IoT data. Microsoft will demonstrate its Connected Field Service solution that delivers remote data gathering and monitoring capabilities and enhances productivity of industrial technicians. The company will showcase its Predictive Maintenance solution that can proactively predict equipment failures and enables manufacturers to systematically prevent them. Microsoft also will demonstrate its Remote Monitoring solution that enables end-to-end, remote monitoring of equipment or products, continuously monitoring real-time use, performance and asset health.  
Microsoft will present these solutions in its booth with its partner Hitachi Solutions. The SAP exhibition in 

Digital Factory will showcase how intelligent technologies, such as digital twins, IoT and machine learning are transforming manufacturing and the digital supply chain. SAP will discuss the latest enhancements to its supply chain, planning and manufacturing solutions and demonstrate its innovations, including digital twins, 3D printing, IoT and robotics in SAP’s booth.

“We are excited to welcome these three power players into our dedicated Digital Factory exhibition space,” said Adrienne Zepeda, show manager of Industrial Events at Hannover Fairs USA. “We specifically designed Digital Factory to demonstrate how IIoT solutions are radically changing the factory of the future,” added Zepeda.
