GTI Spindle Launches Fourth Repair Facility at Caterpillar Plant

GTI Spindle Technology launched a state-of-the-art spindle repair facility onsite at Caterpillar Fuel Systems in Pontiac, IL. According to the company’s press release, this allows GTI to provide on-site machine tool support and repair to reduce the overall repair expenditure and frequency for Caterpillar. GTI Spindle Technology has locations in Manchester, NH; Bloomington, IL and Romulus, MI. Services include failure analysis and corrective action programs, vibration analysis diagnostics. The company also inspects, repairs and remanufactures spindles and other precision rotating assemblies including super precision high frequency, motorized, belt and gear-driven spindles with special emphasis on Japanese, German and Italian high-speed machining centers.
