Forest City Gear Employees Attend IMTS 2022
Employees from Forest City Gear recently attended the 2022 International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center. This year’s show attracted more than 86,000 registrants looking to experience the latest and greatest in manufacturing technology.
According to Jared Lyford, director of manufacturing operations at Forest City Gear, “IMTS is a mainstay in our strategy for both operational and employee development. There is no better place to go and experience the latest in industry trends and technology. The big takeaways from this year’s show were process monitoring, optimization, and automation. We came back with a lot of ideas around the application of automated operations and utilization of robotics. It’s exciting to see so many new things during a day at IMTS, and then sit down as a team to brainstorm where we can deploy those technologies at Forest City Gear.”
