Forest City Gear Celebrates Retirement of Ingrid West

Forest City Gear has announced the retirement of Ingrid West, purchasing and expediting coordinator, after 14 years of dedicated service.

Since joining Forest City Gear, West has been a vital part of the company’s operations, ensuring materials and components were delivered on time to keep production running smoothly. Her attention to detail, persistence, and commitment to excellence helped Forest City Gear uphold its promise of “Excellence Without Exception.”

"Ingrid was a very dedicated employee who always helped everyone whenever she could. She was persistent, determined, and never afraid to try new methods to solve a problem,” says Jeff Mains, director of technical operations. “She was very well respected by her peers and the suppliers that she dealt with every day. She was the eyes and ears for many. You could always rely on her to put her best effort into a project and work diligently until it was completed.”

West chose to celebrate her retirement with a party with the team. Forest City Gear thanks West for her years of service and friendship and wishes her the best in her retirement.
