Forest City Gear Celebrates Jacob Hutmacher's 10th Anniversary
Forest City Gear, an industry-leading manufacturer of fine- and medium-pitch custom gears, is proud to recognize Customer Quality Engineer Jacob Hutmacher on his 10thanniversary and thank him for his long-term dedication to the company.
Hutmacher started in Forest City gear’s Hobbing Department, and from there moved into the role of Process Engineer. As a Process Engineer, he became the main point of contact for customers, focusing on operational work order handling from receipt of the parts, through production and final acceptance of parts prior to shipment.
“With his background in gear manufacturing and understanding of the requirements of our customers, Jacob was a natural fit in the quality department,” says Amy Sovina, Forest City Gear Quality Assurance Manager. “He has been an asset to the department, always willing to help wherever the help is needed.”
