Fluid Power Industry Growth Trend - August 2014

The latest data published by the National Fluid Power Association shows industry shipments of fluid power products for August 2014 increased 4.0% compared to August 2013, and decreased 4.7% when compared to last month. Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic shipments increased, while mobile hydraulic shipments decreased in August 2014 when compared to August 2013. Pneumatic shipments increased, while mobile hydraulic and industrial hydraulic shipments decreased when compared to last month. These charts are drawn from data collected from more than 80 manufacturers of fluid power products by NFPA's Confidential Shipment Statistics (CSS) program.
