Engineered Tools Opens Gear Cutting Systems Division

Engineered Tools Corp. of Caro, MI, has introduced its new gear cutting system division. Cutter body repair will take place at ETC’s existing facility until they move into a new plant near Detroit later this year. Ross Deneau, former vice president of A/W Systems is manufacturing manager. Rich Perkins is customer service manager. John Ketterer is director of operations and Ned Hoermann is sales manager. ETC is a specialty manufacturer of precision cutting tools and wear parts in carbide,ceramic and HSS. According to ETC’s press release, it had been manufacturing stick blades for A/W Systems and Sun Cutter from 2000-2005. ETC has equipment and capacity for 10,000 blades per month.
