EMAG Appoints Loetzner CEO

EMAG recently announced the appointment of Peter Loetzner as the company's CEO. Loetzner was previously executive vice president and plant manager at Görtz+Schiele Corporation. He began his career almost 20 years ago as a program manager for various machine tool companies. Loetzner holds a two-year degree in electrical engineering from Werner von Siemens School in Mannheim, Germany and a four-year degree in industrial automation from the University of Applied Science, Darmstadt, Germany.

"With the know-how and experience in machine tool manufacturing, Peter Loetzner has the outstanding qualifications required to lead EMAG USA's drive for expansion," says Dieter Kollmar, managing director of EMAG.

Loetzner joined the EMAG Group, a supplier of machines and manufacturing systems for the machining of disk-type, shaft-type and cubic work pieces, in July 2008.

"Our primary objective is two-fold," says Loetzner. "Continue our expansion into the non-automotive business sectors and introduce new and high-productive solutions for automotive powertrain applications."
