Eaton to Showcase True Sine Wave Inverter Portfolio During Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week

Eaton will showcase its True Sine Wave Inverter portfolio at the upcoming Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW), Jan. 19-22, 2026, in Grapevine, TX. The lineup includes two distinct solutions designed for different market needs: the Eaton Tripp Lite Series Pure Sine Wave Mobile Inverter for light applications and Eaton’s eMobility True Sine Wave Inverter, engineered for rugged off-highway and other commercial vehicle environments.

As fleets integrate more electronics, connected devices and in-cab technology, the need for stable AC power continues to accelerate. Eaton’s True Sine Wave Inverter solutions convert 12V DC battery power into the same high-quality AC power found at a traditional wall outlet—supporting uptime, productivity and device protection across demanding fleet and equipment applications. HDAW attendees will be able to see both inverter platforms firsthand and meet with Eaton experts to discuss integration and application strategies.

Eaton’s eMobility True Sine Wave Inverter
Designed for commercial truck and off-highway use, the eMobility True Sine Wave Inverter provides clean AC power and is tested to meet rigorous SAE environmental standards. When land-based power is available, the unit automatically switches from DC power to AC utility power, minimizing battery discharge and eliminating the need for external switching. With an optional 40A internal battery charger and integrated transfer switch, it delivers a complete vehicle AC power solution—ideal for OEMs and heavy-duty applications.

Key features include:

•    True sine wave quality to safely power all AC appliances, including Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) machines
•    Greater than 87 percent typical efficiency under all load conditions and temperatures
•    AC pass-through with optional 12V 40A smart battery charger
•    Integrated battery charger and transfer switch
•    Transient, over/under voltage and over-temperature protection
•    User-configurable settings for charger current, battery type, low voltage disconnect and alarms
•    Ruggedized for OEM and off-highway environments

Eaton Tripp Lite Series Pure Sine Wave Mobile Inverters
Purpose-built for fleet vehicles, service trucks, RVs and remote job sites, the Tripp Lite Series offers a lower-cost, simplified solution for light vehicle applications. These inverters deliver pure sine wave output to support laptops, tablets, test instruments and other sensitive electronics—helping them perform at optimal speed, temperature and reliability. Select models offer LCD monitoring, USB charging and remote operation.

Key benefits include:

•    Pure sine wave AC output for sensitive electronics
•    Up to 3000W continuous / 6000W peak power
•    One USB-C (18W) and one USB-A (10.5W) charging port
•    Compact, lightweight installation with included wiring and brackets
•    Optional LCD display and remote control
•    LEDs and audible alarms for voltage, temperature and overload
•    Temperature/load-controlled cooling fan
•    UL 458-certified with GFCI outlets on 2000W and 3000W models

Both solutions will be demonstrated at HDAW, where attendees can compare capabilities and discuss ideal applications based on duty cycle, cost, integration needs and performance requirements.

Powering fleet modernization
Modern service and delivery vehicles are evolving into connected work platforms, placing greater power demands on onboard systems and equipment. Eaton’s True Sine Wave technology delivers clean, low-distortion power that helps prevent equipment damage, extend service life and reduce downtime.

“HDAW provides an ideal venue to demonstrate how our platforms support fleet modernization,” said Carlos Ortega, business unit director, Eaton’s Mobility Group. “By offering two inverter options tailored to different applications, we give fleets and OEMs the flexibility they need to power the technology driving today’s industry forward.”
