Reishauer Corporation
The Reishauer organization was founded in 1788 in Switzerland. High quality cutting tools and measuring equipment initially produced by Reishauer soon led to the manufacturing of grinding machines. Superior quality and wide-spread interest in Reishauer gear and thread grinding machines started the production and worldwide sales. The increasing demand for these machines that rapidly became recognized for their superiority, quality and performance led to the formation of a US division in Elgin, Illinois in 1981.
