ComInTec Torque Limiters Prevent Overload

ComInTec PR-V gearbox torque limiters protect expensive system components from torque overloads. Mounted between the motor and the gearbox these torque limiters instantly disengage components before damage occurs. Features include overload protection, easy assembly and setting, maintenance free, IP67 level of water ingress protection, high corrosion resistance, an ATEX version on request and more. Applications include food and beverage, wasterwater, packaging equipment and shredder/recycling industries. The torque limiter mounts directly to the motor and gearbox (suited for flange motors and gearbox), requires no design work and provides instant disengagement. Two models are available including the DSS/F/SG/PR-V (backlash free ball model for gearboxes) and the DF/TAC/PR-V (friction model for gearboxes).
