Cam-Clutches Deliver Greater Torque Capacity, Longer Fatigue Life

Tsubaki recently introduced a range of cam-clutches designed for back-stopping operations in light-duty applications at high RPM. The MREU series clutches are typically used in fans, air conditioning units and ventilation systems. The clutches are primarily for OEM applications and meet the requirements of European machinery and heating and venting installations.

According to the company’s press release, the clutches integrate a full complement of cams to provide the maximum number of load transmitting members despite their compact size. This results in greater torque capacity and longer fatigue life. Available in open types for internal installation and packaged types for external applications, these are just one in a series of full complement cam-clutches available from Tsubaki.
