Bonfiglioli Inaugurates Turkish Facility

Bonfiglioli inaugurated a facility in Izmir, Turkey in October. According to the company's press release, Turkey has recently been welcomed on the international scene as one of the nations with the fastest growing GDP and industrial output. In Turkey, growth in manufacturing is driven mainly by construction, cement, steel, domestic appliance, automotive, food and beverage and textile industries. The country's geopgraphic location also makes Turkey a strategic meeting point between east and west. Turkey's new subsidiary has head offices in Izmir. The site occupies a total area of 5,000 square meters and buildings of 2,000 square meters. Bonfiglioli Turkey will concentrate on assembly, stock management, logistics, pre-sales and after-sales service. The subsidiary employs 28 and includes a drive service center; market coverage in Istanbul, Ankara and Kayceri; and assembly and logistics.
