Binder M8-D Connectors with Single Wires Enhance Transmission Efficiency

As networking and data exchange expand in factory automation, the demand for reliable, flexible connection solutions is on the rise. Binder, a leading provider of industrial circular connectors, is enhancing its portfolio with M8-D-coded connectors featuring single wires. This new variant allows users to customize wiring to their specific needs, delivering improved transmission performance, particularly for applications like the Profinet standard.

“The new M8-D-coded connectors with single wires enable reliable communication between controllers, sensors, and actuators in manufacturing and process plants. We supply the single wires untwisted, allowing customers to twist them according to their application needs to achieve even better transmission results,” explains Guido Werner, product manager at binder. “We developed this solution because the demand for these connectors in the automation industry will continue to grow, driven by the increasing exchange of information in industrial automation.”

The increasing customer demand for M8-D-coded panel mount connectors with single wires has driven the development of this solution. With binder’s existing M8-D portfolio already featuring overmolded cables, field-attachable connectors, and panel mount connectors with solder contacts, this new product is a natural progression in expanding the lineup.
