Ball Bearing Mini Clutches from Ogura

Ogura has modified the MC electromagnetic clutch line to incorporate ball bearings. Previous designs had bushings that had limitations of 600 rpm. The new clutches have two ball bearings underneath the field assembly allowing the clutch to comfortably operate at 3,600 rpm.

The zero-backlash, single-spring armature design prevents any chance of armature rattle, allowing for a quiet operation. The clutches are available in a 4.5 in.-lb and 9 in.-lb torque rating. Both clutches are RoHS-compliant and conform to UL/CSA requirements for the lead wires.
