AutomationDirect Expands NITRA Pneumatics Solenoid Valves Series

AutomationDirect’s line of NITRA pneumatics now includes two additional series of valves and manifolds. The BVS-3 series modular solenoid valves are body ported 3-port (3-way) poppet valves available in 2-position, normally open or normally closed configurations with 12VDC, 24VDC, or 120VAC coils. Starting at $29.00, models are available with an 8 mm Micro DIN connector; most models have removable flying leads, allowing the valves to be used with BVM series manifolds. BVS-3 series valves are also offered in low current models, starting at $28.00, and are available with 3VDC, 5VDC, 12VDC or 24VDC coils.

NITRA pneumatic BVS-4 series modular solenoid valves, starting at $46.00, are two-position, single spring return, body ported 4-port (4-way) spool valve models. Designed with 1/4” push-to-connect ports and 12VDC, 24VDC, 24VAC or 120VAC solenoid coils, these valves have removable flying leads or an 8 mm Micro DIN connector.

BVM series manifolds simplify the mounting and wiring of BVS series solenoid valves. Made of sturdy glass-reinforced thermoplastic with DIN rail mounting clips included, they feature push-to-connect air connections for quick and easy tubing installation. BVM-3 series modular manifolds start at $54.00, are available in 4 and 8-station styles for mounting BVS-3 series valves and feature a 9-pin D-sub connector for convenient single-cable wiring.  BVM-4 series modular manifolds, starting at $22.00, are available in 2, 3 and 4-station models.

Control distribution blocks are now available for BVS-4/BVM-4 assemblies. NITRA pneumatic control distribution blocks, starting at $41.00, are a convenient way to connect a bank of AVS or BVS-series valves to a controller, allowing replacement of a bundle of solenoid cables with a single cable connected to an M12 or a D-sub connector. Each block matches up with a manifold of two to eight stations.
