Dr.-Ing. Dieter Mevissen is Chief Engineer in the gear department at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University since November 2021. He graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a master´s degree in mechanical engineering. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the prediction of geometric surface changes in rolling-sliding contacts.
