Stefan Sendlbeck, M.Sc. is currently a Research Associate at the Institute of Machine Elements, the Gear Research Center (FZG) at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. He started his scientific career with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich including a study abroad at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He joined FZG as a researcher in 2018. Since then, he focused on gear design and calculation methods, gear condition monitoring and prognostics, and the use of machine learning methods in gear technology.
