Ametek Offers Custom Options for MiniSlide MSA Precision Actuators

Ametek’s Advanced Motion Solutions Division has announced enhancements to its MiniSlide MSA Series of precision linear slides.

In addition to its already wide range of custom features, MiniSlide is now available:
•Preassembled into multi-axis X-Y and X-Y-Z configurations.
•With custom-cast endplates for tighter integration in compact spaces.
•With machined pads for reference surfaces and additional mounting threads or locational holes.

Predesigned, performance-proven standard units — some of which feature wire harnesses either built-in or included in the order — are in stock and ready for immediate shipment from Haydon Kerk Pittman’s e-commerce store. Customers can create an account on the site to request custom configurations through the “request a quote” feature.

Originally introduced in 2020, the MiniSlide motorized linear slide system offers customers a compact, low-profile, stable platform with definable, economical costs; a rapid supply; and the ability to conveniently mount, wire, and run. The series provides design flexibility with two motor technology options, nine lead screw options, four lubrication options, a rotary encoder feedback option, and imperial or metric mounting hardware standards. The MiniSlide is ideal for lab equipment and automation applications including sample handling, spectrometers and chromatographers, molecular analyzers, optical microscopes, and inspection devices.
