Altra to Exhibit at Coal Prep 2013

Altra Industrial Motion brands Marland Clutch and Formsprag Clutch will be exhibiting their latest product lines in booth 1405 at the 2013 Coal Prep Show in Lexington, Kentucky. Featured products include Marland’s BC-MA backstops that prevent reverse rotation on conveyor systems, with the newest massive designs having a torque capacity up to 1,200,000 lb.ft. and bore range to 600mm. Formsprag’s HSB (High Speed Backstop) clutch, which prevents reverse rotation on cooling tower fan drives, and TB Wood’s V-belt sheaves and synchronous belt drives will also be showcased. Altra’s broad product offering meets the specific power transmission and motion control requirements of the coal mining industry while improving efficiency, productivity and safety in a wide range of underground and surface mining applications including inclined, declined and overland conveyors, crushers, breakers, ventilation and cooling fans, winders and hoists, pumps, stackers and reclaimers.
