Handbook of Inch Drive Components: 790-2

The process of selecting small INCH size drive components for new prototypes or production applications just became easier with the publication, by Stock Drive Products and Sterling Instrument, of a 1,186-page catalog, the "Handbook of INCH Drive Components, Catalog 790-2.

The catalog itself includes over 48,000 off-the-shelf standardized commercial and precision quality INCH size components, including over 1,380 new products. The catalog is divided into 14 product sections, each with its own photographic and descriptive index. The major product groups are: gears, belt and chain drives, shafts, shaft accessories, bearings, couplings, universal joints, vibration mounts, miscellaneous components, hardware, gearheads and speed reducers, right angle drives, brakes and clutches, motors and gearmotors. There are 17,039 gears offered along with 18,355 inch size timing belt drives in 7 different materials. All components in the catalog adhere to the following parameters: 120 to 16 Pitch gears, shafts from .0311" to 1.249" diameter, and 15 Watt devices or less
