August Steinmeyer GmbH, a manufacturer of precision ground ball screws, announces the appointment of Bruce Gretz to lead its North American sales and marketing operations. Gretz is now executive vice president of Steinmeyer, Inc., the company’s sole international subsidiary. Gretz joined the company in mid-2015 as the national key account manager, where he was instrumental in growing awareness of Steinmeyer’s ball screw offerings with its most prominent customers.

 

Previously, Gretz held sales and business development roles with several engineering-driven firms. In addition to deep experience with industrial technologies, he holds a master of business administration from The Wharton School, a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from Stanford University, as well as a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Cornell University.
