AD Bearings & Power Transmission hosted its 2023 North American Meeting from March 21 to 24 in San Diego, where divisional members and suppliers connected for best practice sharing and meeting sessions dedicated to growing their business.
AD announced that its owner/members elected three directors to its board of directors. Each year, the AD board’s Nominating & Governance Committee holds an open nomination and voting period, during which AD members select members to its board of directors. Currently, more than 140 of AD’s 850-plus member companies provide leadership on corporate and divisional boards and committees.
AD is reporting record results for 2022 in owner/member sales, member purchases from AD suppliers, AD warehouse sales to AD members, net distributions to members, and operational efficiency.
The 2022 AD eCommerce & Marketing Summit brought together digital and marketing leaders from AD owner/members, supplier partners and eCommerce partners from December 5-7. Over 470 attendees gathered in San Diego for a week of panel discussions, roundtables, networking, and collaboration opportunities.

The meeting brought the division’s members and suppliers together to discuss industry trends, celebrate a year of growth and collaboration, and learn about important divisional updates.
AD is pleased to announce it has hired Kristen Abbas as vice president, AD Network Community, effective August 1, 2022. As VP, AD Network Community, Abbas will be responsible for managing, implementing, innovating, and expanding AD’s meeting and network ecosystem including additional opportunities for peer-to-peer engagement opportunities for AD members. Abbas will report to Marty McLaughlin, chief marketing officer.
AD is pleased to announce that Marisol Fernandez will be returning to the company as president of its Electrical and Industrial Business Unit, effective June 8, 2022.
