Renold Gears has continued to expand its sales team with the appointment of Jeff Powell to the position of gearing sales manager, in Westfield, New York. Powell will be responsible for providing customer support in the United States and South America for the company's entire range of industrial gear products and services to OEMs, distributors and end users.

Powell has worked in gear manufacturing since 2002 and has extensive experience of machining, fitting and assembly of industrial and precision gear drives. He joined Renold in 2011 as a regional sales manager with responsibility for all the company's Torque Transmission group products that includes a wide range of couplings and gears. This new appointment will enable Powell to dedicate all of his time providing support to customers of Renold Gears.

He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two young daughters and the family's English Bulldog. His hobbies include travelling, football, golfing and fishing.

According to Renold Gears’ commercial director, Roger Godson, the appointment reflects the company’s commitment to customers in the Americas and meets the growing demand for its products and services across a wide range of industry sectors.
