Schneeberger Announces Miniscale Plus Optical Encoder
Schneeberger Linear Technology recently announced the new Miniscale Plus optical encoder system now with resolutions to 0.1 micron. Miniscale Plus is available as an option for all Minirail products from sizes 7 to 42 and short to extra long carriages and rails to 1 meter in length.
Maximize system accuracy by taking the measurement at the payload. Compared to an external encoder, the smaller envelope needed for mounting the Miniscale Plus will increase the available real estate inside the machine. In addition, the Miniscale Plus does not require set up or adjustment saving valuable installation time.
