A1C Series Couplings Provide Precise Machine Operation
April 9, 2012
The continuous improvement practices at Zero-Max have produced a new series of couplings. The CD Coupling-Series A1C are designed for today's most demanding servomotor and motion control applications. Featuring high torsional stiffness and high dynamic load capacity, CD A1C couplings provide reliable machine operation and precise positioning under high speed reversing loads without fatigue for reliable 24/7 operation. In addition, these zero-backlash couplings are suitable for reversing loads and providing smooth operation at high speeds. The unique design is compact to allow for a smaller assembly - enabling a smaller machine footprint. Designed with improved clamp style hubs for handling larger shafts and higher torque, the CD A1C clamp style hub design provides shaft engagement. Shafts have increased clamping strength, eliminating the need for keyways for a cleaner, better balanced design. Combining high performance design features, materials and precision, these A1C couplings are precise, robust and available in six sizes. Torque capacities range from 40 Nm to 564 Nm with speed ratings from 6,700 to 15,000 rpm depending on the model.
