Techno's Pro Series 4896 Models Offer Rigid Durability and a Compact Style

June 4, 2009

Techno, Inc. CNC Routers released the Model 4896 Pro Series. The Pro Series was designed to meet the high demands of panel process manufacturing; now Techno expects this heavy weight (3,050 lbs) 4896 model to be the most popular, with its 4 ft x 8 ft process area and very attractive base price ($30,000).

Techno's Engineers utilized innovative software to provide mathematical testing of designs called Finite Element Analysis (FEA), which provided load characteristic analyses of the machine's components, ultimately determining whether material improvements were required to build a better machine, or if different building strategies would be viable to reduce the cost without sacrificing quality.

"During the development process, it was extremely important to design and build a machine using superior components while keeping within budget," says CNC router sales manager Roy Valentine. "We demanded steeper discounts from our suppliers and purchased larger volumes of materials to produce a rigid machine at this incredible low cost."

The heavy-duty, welded and stress-relieved base is a perfect foundation for Techno's precision drive system. Equipped with a moving gantry that requires less valuable space, precision ball screw drives on all three axes, THK rails/bearings, and high-speed closed-loop servomotors and drives this new design ensures minimal maintenance and machine longevity. The Pro Series can also be equipped with a variety of single- to multi-spindle setups for high volume part production, multi-zone vacuum table, reverse engineering lasers, 4th axis rotary tables and more! Every machine also receives Techno's Windows-based CNC Servo G-Code Interface, the fully comprehensive CNC program which includes unique high-end features that are both easy to use and operate.
