Mark J. Gliebe was named as president of the electric motors group at Regal-Beloit and David Eisenreich was named president of the mechanical components and power generation group.
Gliebe will be responsible for all aspects of the companys motor business, including sales, marketing, materials and engineering. He has 22 years experience in executive management positions at GE.
Eisenreich has been with Regal-Beloit since 1997. Most recently, he was president of the motor technologies group. His new responsibilities include anything related to the companys mechanical group and its electrical power generation division, capacitor operations and marathon special products division.
In the companys press release, Regal-Beloits CEO and president Henry Kneuppel said, "These new positions were created by the companys growth and success. With the recent GE motor product line acquisition, we believe Regal-Beloit is now the #1 producer of commercial, industrial and HVAC motors in North America and a significant global player in motors, power generation and mechanical power transmissions."
