Regal Beloit Corporation, a leading manufacturer of electric motors, electrical motion controls, power generation and power transmission components, announced that it will host a tour of its Florence, Ky., manufacturing processes on Tuesday, October 3. Manufacturing Day, in its sixth year, is a celebration of modern manufacturing and helps to raise awareness of the profession and career opportunities. In 2016, there were more than 2,800 participating Manufacturing Day hosts across the U.S.
“As a key company-wide initiative, Regal is committed to driving growth through innovative products and services,” said Chris Carrigan, Director of Technology, Regal Beloit America, Inc. “We focus the design of our products on improving our customers’ total cost of ownership. Our high-quality products are manufactured on state-of-the-art machinery, using advanced materials and proprietary processes. At Regal, we embrace the spirit of innovation, and Manufacturing Day presents the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate our advancements, and all those in the manufacturing industry.”
Regal recently introduced several groundbreaking new products, including the UlteMAX integral horsepower motor, SealMaster Skwezloc Locking Collar, and TIME SAVING Axial Groove in Bore feature to the SealMaster Large Bore Performance Gold Line Mounted Ball Bearing. The UlteMAX motor’s unique profile and design offer a systemic shift in the commercial HVAC motor industry, featuring one-third the weight and size of a traditional induction motor and an integrated configurable control for fast, easy installation, operation and serviceability. The Skwezloc Locking Collar achieves improved lock reliability through an innovative circumferential groove on its inner ring bore that reduces stress on the inner ring, while the TIME SAVING Axial Groove in the inner ring of the Large Bore Performance Gold Line Mounted Ball Bearing bore allows for easier bearing removal.
