Siemens will kick off the first night of the conference with its successful Connect Event 3.0, welcoming attendees to BYOD (bring your own device), whether it be an iPad, iPhone, or any other mobile device. The conference will also offer 50 breakout sessions of best practice sharing, free hands-on training, networking opportunities, and the opportunity to provide product input and prioritization for future Siemens product enhancements. “As we enter the twelfth year of hosting our Automation Summit, the premise of our event remains the same – providing a unique user experience and uniting Siemens experts, solution partners and end users. New Orleans is a great site for our Summit, as we gather to share best practices in new productivity, energy efficiency, expertise and commitment, digitalization and engineering ingenuity,” says Raj Batra, president of the Industry Automation Division for Siemens Industry, Inc.
