Gleason-K2 developed its proprietary process to injection mold gears at AGMA 10 to AGMA 12 without secondary machining. These plastic spur, helical and bevel gears can be molded from all thermoplastic materials currently in use, including filled grades. The plastic gears have a thru-hole and are priced to match the cost of traditional 3-plated AGMA 7 gears! Spur and helical gears, along with plastic pulleys, bushings, cams and encoder wheels, can all take advantage of this breakthrough technology.
